The Grooming Room

 

Mary Ellen started working here as a groomer in 1992.

She has worked with animals/pets since 1982, when she had her first job with a veterinarian while in high school. She went on to get her Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology from ABAC, in Tifton GA.

 

 

Her dog Draco, a two-year old Doberman, is acitive in agility, recently achieving the Novice Agility title. Mary Ellen and and Draco also work with the South East K-9 Search and Rescue team. Draco's future will include working on his Rally Obediance title. He has also been shown in Confirmation Classes.

 

 

And, what she  likes best about working here: The great clients, flexible scheduling, and that you can bring your pets to  work with you!

 

Mary Ellen has also shown and bred Somalis (cats) for more than ten years.

She currently has 4 dogs, 6 cats, and 5 peafowl. In addition she has a Quaker Parrot, she also breeds peacocks, and incubates the eggs from them each summer.
